
Pre K's "Caught Being Kind" award goes to Effie Smith. She held a friend's hand and sang softly to her at rest time to help her when she was feeling sad.



Senior picture makeup day will be Monday, September 19 in the old cafeteria, for those who missed the first picture day. Senior portraits and cap & gown photos will be taken. Boys should wear a white t-shirt and girls should wear a top that can be pulled down over the shoulders.

Mrs. Layne's 4th graders used The Walking Classroom to listen to a social studies lesson on the 14th amendment while walking the school trail.

Mrs. Robin's 6th graders are using a triple-beam balance in science lab to find which objects have the most mass.

Mrs. Rachel's 3rd graders have jumped right into science. From learning about different scientists to taking a nature walk and making observations!

The last day to sign up for Little Dribblers (which is kindergarten-2nd grade) and pee wee basketball (which is 3rd-6th grade) is this Friday 9-2. Parents please make sure you are aware that there is a deadline. So remember that FRIDAY is the last day to turn in both forms.
