West Side Anglers TBF Arkansas State Runner-Up!!!
This qualifies them for the High School National Championship💚🦅
What a day today was!!!! You are looking at the TBF Arkansas State Runner Up Team right here!!! And they have punched their ticket to the TBF/SAF High School National Championship on Grand Lake in Grove, OK in June!!! These boys fished their hearts out and caught 14.01 pounds with a 4.01 big bass. They came up a little short of first to a great team of seniors (not bad for an 8th and 9th grader).
They absolutely would not have accomplished this without the best boat captain around!! Toby Fife you have dedicated countless hours on and off the water for these two and have given up your valuable time to help them succeed…and succeed they did!! We appreciate you beyond measure! Thank you to everyone who has always supported these boys doing what they love. Fishing is tough and wins are sometimes spread out but this one takes the cake. These two never quit and always work hard! We are so proud of them and are excited for the big show in OK!!

The Arkansas Basketball Coaches Association Banquet was held on Monday, April 14. Emcee, Steve Sullivan presented awards to the "Top Five" basketball players in each classification, as well as awarding each classification "Coach of the Year". Coach Jeff Morgan, Athletic Director at Harding University, was the honored speaker. Pictured below are Lainee Gentry, Ashlyn Cossey, and Kately Cornett. They each earned the Top 5 Award for the Girls 1A Classification voted on by the ArBCA.
Also pictured is Coach Keith Cornett. He was awarded the 1A Girls Coach of the Year. Congratulations to Lainee, Ashlyn, Kately and Coach Cornett!
