During the Christmas break, Mount Vernon-Enola is hosting a basketball tournament. The senior girls play Bigelow at 12:30 pm Wed Dec. 27, and the senior boys play Conway Christian at 1:45 pm Wed Dec. 27.



West Side Elementary had some special visitors today. Students enjoyed milk and cookies while listening to Mrs. Claus read a story. They also got to select a book to take home with them. We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

Though the schedule says 5:30 pm start, tonight's conference games at Viola will tip off at 5 o'clock with the Junior Girls. The two senior teams also play.

SOAR got to spend some time at the Cleburne County Library recently.





Mrs. Cherieś elementary art students have been busy! K-2 created oil pastel watercolor resist villages based on the work of Paul Klee. 3rd & 4th grade worked on shade values with pencils to create value scale bugs with patterned backgrounds. 5th & 6th grade teamed up in pairs to create architecture collaborative styrofoam prints.






3rd-6th Grade GT students recently spent some time reading Christmas stories to Mrs. Polly's Kindergarten class.
