An elementary student was discovered to have an unloaded BB gun at school this morning. The student had boarded a bus with the gun, which is styled after a Glock handgun, and had breakfast in the cafeteria. The gun was shown to a few students, one of whom reported it to a teacher. The district found no evidence that the student had any BB's or pellets, nor did the student have a CO(2) cartridge needed to discharge ammo. There is no evidence that the student intended any harm to others. All students and staff are safe.
