Congratulations to Mrs. Robin's 6th grade Star Student, Payton Cullum! He received an award and goodies from SRO, Amber Sanford.
Two West Side seniors, Mandy Smith and Grayson Inzer, are among Arkansas' best and brightest, and they will be honored at the Governor's Mansion on Saturday, May 3, which is Scholastic Honors Day.

Saturday is Arkansas Drug Take Back Day. Do your part to help make sure unused or expired prescription drugs are disposed of safely and stay out of the wrong hands! GF PD is a collection site.

Mrs. Barger's Career Development classes are working on team building with some fun activities.
The Cap and Gown Walk spotlighting seniors and kindergarten students will take place at 8:30 Tue 5/13. Parents may attend by parking at Gathright Gym or Brady-Hipp Arena. They may view and take pictures of the walk at Gathright.

Eight West Side FFA members attended the 98th Arkansas FFA State Convention in Hot springs this week.
West Side FFA, along with some other chapters in Arkansas , was recognized with a National Chapter award for actively implementing the mission and strategies of the National FFA organization. The strategies included: improving growing leaders, building a community and strengthening agriculture as well as providing educational experiences for the entire membership.
Logan Fife won a Arkansas License Plate $500.00 scholarship. Along with other FFA members in the state Logan also received his Arkansas FFA State degree which is the highest degree awarded by a state FFA association, recognizing a member's dedication and achievement in agriculture education and FFA activities.



A summer immunization clinic, by appointment or walk-in, is planned on Tuesday, July 29, by Cleburne County Health Unit!
