
Students from Natural Resources, Outdoor Adventures, and Biology got to learn about science in our own area. We spent the day at JFK Park in Heber Springs. Students learned about the history of our area, dissected fish, hiked, and even got to do a little fishing. It was the first 2-0 week of the fall season for the young West Side eSports program, as the Mario Kart team of Thomas Shue, Tadeo Hernandez, Ramon Hernandez and Ian Harper were able to survive a back-and-forth battle with Valley Springs (B) on Thursday. Ramon Hernandez placed first in the last two races to lift the Eagles to a razor-thin 122-120 victory.


The West Side Journalism Department will be selling ALL yearbooks they have at the home basketball games on October 28 and November 8.
2024 books will be $45 each.
2023 books and all others will be $20 each.

West Side eSports got back to its winning ways on Wednesday, as the Super Smash Bros. team of Stevi Oplinger, Tadeo Hernandez and Ian Harper upset Jacksonville High School, 3-1. Hernandez won four straight games to finish the match and shut the door on the Titans. Way to go, Eagles!


It's Game Day! Game time has been changed to 3:30.

Little Red Restaurant has been promoting reading by giving a free kids meal coupon for meeting independent reading goals on Accelerated Reader. 5th and 6th grade got to celebrate their reading on Thursday with the coupons as well as extra recess and cookies for taking and passing an AR test.





Mrs. Teresa's 3rd-6th grade GT students recently visited Eagle Bank and the Community Water System to learn about different careers in our community as part of their Career Unit. Thank you, Krista Goodson and Juanice Carr for helping make this trip possible for our kids!

Every class ring tells a student’s story and these kiddos met with Jostens today to get information on designing their own personalized ring very soon. They were excited to get started on this once in a lifetime event!
