With tonight’s District Tournament championship, West Side’s senior boys will enter state regionals to play as a No. 1 seed next week at Hillcrest. The senior girls were runner-up at District and will be a No. 2 seed in Regionals.

To reach tomorrow’s District Tournament finals, the Senior Boys took a 1-point lead on a free throw from Travis Gentry 2.3 seconds left after Concord had tied the game on a 3-pointer with under 10 seconds. They play ICC at 6:15 pm Saturday at Shirley.

With their wins tonight, West Side’s senior girls and boys advanced to Saturday’s district tournament finals at Shirley. The girls play @ 5 pm and the boys @ 6:15 pm.

Congratulations to the Cleburne County 5-8 Spelling Bee Participants and Winners! Caleb Creasy from Concord was the overall winner and West Side's Lexi England was the runner-up!
