Parents, Highway 92 is currently blocked by a vehicle near Brownsville Road. This will very likely delay the Eagle bus, which serves Prim, Woodrow, and Highway 92 east of Brownsville; and delay the arrival of students in the Tannenbaum/Silver Ridge area of the Kangaroo bus.

The Junior High District Track meet has been moved to Thursday, April 21, at 10am at Melbourne High School.

Congratulations to Kortnee Finch, West Side Class of 2022!

Congratulations Lance Knapp, West Side Senior!

More pictures from the recent trip the GT students took to Jim & Diandra Verser's to learn about planes.

West Side Elementary had an awesome Easter fun day on Friday! Kids rotated between stations in the morning and enjoyed an Easter egg hunt in the afternoon. The Easter bunny even paid a visit to the kids!

We ended our fun day with gift cards and jelly beans for the teachers and students who guessed most closely in the guessing game!

STAR STUDENT: ISLA BREWER
Congratulations to Mrs. Whitney's 1st grade Star Student, Isla Brewer! Isla was selected for the award because she demonstrates respect in the classroom. Officer Donald presented her with a water bottle and certificate for her character. Way to go Isla!

A huge thanks to Jim & Diandra Verser for allowing some of the 3rd-6th grade GT students to visit their home recently. Jim shared some great facts about flying and planes as he showed off his own plane.

More Easter egg fun at West Side Elementary!

Some of the stations students rotated through on Friday were bingo, origami, working in the garden, and catapults. Everyone had a great time, and we want to thank our parents and volunteers for helping to make it a success!
