West Side High School is focusing on building a positive school culture this year. We want to recognize students who stand out for their kind, helpful and responsible actions and their positive attitudes. We started our Positive Office Referrals this week as part of this effort. Gabby Hipp received a Positive Office Referral for being a great help to a young lady who was injured and having to use a walker. Shew carried her backpack for her from class to class with a smile! Lexi Engle, a new student at West Side, received a Positive Office Referral for having a positive attitude towards others and encouraging them. Gabriel Milton, another new student, also received a Positive Office Referral for showing respect to others by holding the door open for them each morning. Great things are happening at WSHS! Be on the lookout for more to come each week.
