The West Side eSports Mario Kart team moved to 2-0 on the Spring season with a win over Bald Knob on Thursday. The team of Jordan Ragsdale, Kolby Lockard, William Cantafio and Caleb Cross won in straight sets, 2-0.

Grades 3-6 will be taking the ATLAS science interim next Tuesday, March 5th, and the Summative writing assessment on Wednesday, March 6th. Please make sure your child arrives on time, gets a good night's sleep, and eats a healthy breakfast at home or school.
C.J. Parks and Landon Dodson (students to far left) finished 1st and 2nd in welding competition today at UACC Morrilton involving three schools. CJ will receive a $1,000 scholarship, welding hood, and cap with Landon receiving welding hood and cap. They had an hour to complete a project with shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welds with various types of joints and positions, working from a blueprint.

K-2 students learned about the moon's phases last week in Mrs. Teresa's Enrichment class. They used Oreos to demonstrate the phases.

Mr. Caleb's 5th graders recently had Ms. Emily Housdan, who currently works in public history research with experience in museum and archives work, talk with the students about careers in history! We shared some laughs about the 1930s Ostrich Farms and had some insightful discussions about life in Japanese internment camps.
