Lake Area Sports is approved for an Internet Stream broadcast of 1A State Baseball Tournament games, and EAB of Morrilton is approved to broadcast on radio, although their coverage may be limited to Nemo Vista and Wonderview baseball and softball games.

West Side 1st graders became published authors this year through a project Mrs. Traci led that required the cooperation of several others at school. Students had an author's reading and signing day for their families for the special event. Congratulations!

West Side's baseball team advanced to tomorrow's Regional Final after defeating Hillcrest, 10-9, in a wild game in which they were behind most of the time. They play Armorel at 2:30 pm to determine the No. 1 seed headed into next week's State Tournament, hosted by West Side.
West Side's softball team lost today in the Regional semifinals, 10-0, to Shirley. They play at noon tomorrow at Marked Tree in a game to determine the No. 3 in next week's state tournament, hosted by West Side.
