Congratulations to Mrs. Lanelda Caples!!
We all knew that we had one of the BEST and most talented art teachers in Arkansas, but now the State and the Nation will know! Mrs. Lanelda Caples presented at the State Art Educators' Conference the first weekend in November. She presented on how she teaches paper mache and tips and tricks to make it successful. She applied and was chosen to present at the National Conference in April in Minneapolis!! Her presentation will be combining art and science using paper mache to create sculptures of animals that have had to adapt to a change in their environment.

Thanksgiving Break is coming soon!

Thank you for supporting our Special Olympics students this year!

In a win-or-go-home match, the West Side eSports Smash Bros. team survived a 3-2 dogfight over Umpire High School on Wednesday. The win will almost certainly lock up a playoff spot for the team of Kolby Lockard, Elijah Antonacci, Jordan Ragsdale and Caleb Cross.
Umpire tied the match at 2-2, but Lockard finished his opponent in straight sets to clinch the win. For the first time in program history, all three Eagle eSports teams (Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Splatoon 3) qualified for the state tournament, which begins after Thanksgiving break.
