West Side's baseball team advanced to tomorrow's Regional Final after defeating Hillcrest, 10-9, in a wild game in which they were behind most of the time. They play Armorel at 2:30 pm to determine the No. 1 seed headed into next week's State Tournament, hosted by West Side.
West Side's softball team lost today in the Regional semifinals, 10-0, to Shirley. They play at noon tomorrow at Marked Tree in a game to determine the No. 3 in next week's state tournament, hosted by West Side.
West Side's conference fared well in yesterday's Regional Tournament at Marked Tree. The four Conference 1A-2 teams beat the four Conference 1A-3 teams by 10 runs or more. All four of the 1A-2 teams will represent Region 2 at West Side in the State Tournament next week.

Congratulations to our 1st-4th Grade Spelling Bee Participants and Winners! The 1st grade winner was Matthew Sutton and Lily Richey was runner up. For 2nd grade, Blayde Carlton was the winner and Elise Murphree was the runner up. The 3rd grade winner was Chloe Galeazzi and runner up, Wyatt Wilson. The 4th grade winner was Delaney McCabe and runner up, Jeinely Ruiz. Congratulations to all of these kids!
These great prizes are up for grabs this Saturday at the Greers Ferry Fishing Derby from 9:00 AM - noon! There are also two gift cards to Heber Springs Resort included in the prizes. There is no entry fee required, so come out and have some fun!
