The Homecoming "Roadtrip" week starts Monday, Nov. 11! All students can participate by dressing for the trip to create a festive, fun week!
It's five wins in a row for the young West Side eSports program! On Thursday, the Mario Kart team of (pictured, from left) Thomas Shue, Levi Terrell, Tadeo Hernandez, Ramon Hernandez and Ian Harper swept Clinton, 2-0. On Wednesday, the Super Smash Bros team of Ian Harper, Stevi Oplinger and Tadeo Hernandez defeated Maumelle Charter High School, 3-0. Tadeo had four first-place finishes in Mario Kart and has won 16 straight Smash matches without suffering a loss.
Mrs. Faith's 8th grade English class reviewed their past STAR test performance and committed to a new goal for their second round of testing! Great things are happening here at West Side!

It's Game Day
West Side Students in grades 3-10 will be taking the ATLAS interims this week. Grades 3-6 will take one assessment Tuesday through Friday while 7th-10th will take two assessments on Tuesday and Wednesday. Students will need a charged Chromebook and a good night's sleep each day of testing. Juniors are not required to be at school until noon on Tuesday, and Seniors are not required to be at school on Wednesday until noon.
