A huge congratulations to West Side 6th grader, Olivia Oplinger. Olivia won the 5th-8th grade Cleburne County Spelling Bee on Tuesday! West Side was also represented by Robby Whitaker who finished in the top five, Waverly Verser, Amber Griffin, and Tadeo Hernandez. Congratulations to all of these Eagles on a job well done!

Wednesday marked a successful opening to the Spring 2024 eSports regular season for the Super Smash Bros. team of Kolby Lockard, Stevi Oplinger and Caleb Cross. The Eagles took a 3-0 sweep over the short-handed AFJROTC Titans of Jacksonville High School. The West Side Mario Kart team will open league play against Newport on Thursday.
