The junior high softball doubleheader previously scheduled at home on Saturday against Rose Bud has been canceled.
The West Side Elementary Early Childhood Program in Greers Ferry is still taking applications for the 2019-2020 School Year. To be eligible for the program, children must be three or four years old BY August 1, 2019 AND live in the West Side School District. There are private pay and ABC funded positions available. Early Childhood Program registration will be held on Tuesday, April 16 from 5:00-6:00 pm in the school cafeteria.

West Side Elementary Kindergarten Registration will be held Friday, April 12, 2019, from 11:30 am until 3:00 pm in the kindergarten classroom. Parents need to bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate, social security card, and a copy of shot record. Hope to see you soon!

Today's baseball and softball games vs. Shirley, previously scheduled at West Side, have been postponed. The baseball team will play a doubleheader tomorrow against Shirley, rather than the game scheduled vs. Bradford.
West Side Anglers Tanner Fife and Kaylynn Finch finished in 3rd place with 8lbs. 6 ounces, and Asa Carr and Dawson Inzer won the Big Bass award with a 6 pounder on Lake Ouachita today.

The West Side High School band performed as an ensemble Saturday at Dover in the Region Band Solo/Ensemble Assessment. The band received a second division or "Excellent" rating.
