With a solid 5-1 victory over Guy-Perkins, the West Side Lady Eagles qualified for next week’s Regional Tournament and moved to the semifinals of the 1A-5 District Softball Tournament. They play Concord at 4 p.m. Thursday at Greers Ferry.

West Side High and Elementary will have an Art Show up at Eagle Bank in Greers Ferry from Monday until Friday this week! The winners will be decided upon tomorrow at 10:00 and the ribbons will remain displayed until Friday. Thank you to Eagle Bank for hosting this years Art Show!

West Side School Special Education files for 2013 will be available in the superintendent's office beginning May 8th through May 22, 2019. Files may be picked up by the parent, guardian, or student if over 18. Unclaimed files will be destroyed on May 23, 2019.

Evening folks. As you may know, tomorrow (4-11-19) begins the window for our ACT Aspire State Testing in grades 3-6. It is important that your student gets a good night's rest and arrives to school on time. The results of the ACT Aspire affect our school's ESSA Report Card and therefore makes your child's performance on the assessment even more important. Over the next two weeks four more sections of Aspire will be administered. (April 16,18,23,25)

Afternoon. Just a reminder applications for the 19-20 Early Childhood Program are available from the elementary office. A child must be either 3 or 4 on or before August 1, 2019 to be eligible. We have approximately 10 ABC funded positions and 6 private pay positions available. Registration will be on April 16 in the cafeteria beginning at 5:00 pm.
