West Side Elementary is all out Tacky for Tuesday's Homecoming Spirit Day!




Wilderness Wednesday is November 18th at West Side School. Come dressed in your camouflage or as a wilderness animal to show your school spirit.

Mr. Caleb Long's 6th graders tried their hand at decoding Egyptian hieroglyphics and writing their names in a protective cartouche. What a fun lesson!

Today is National Take a Hike Day! Go out and enjoy the beauty our area has to offer!

WSE is showing their American Pride for homecoming week! Way to go, Eagles!



Homecoming is scheduled for Thursday, November 19 at 6:30 in Brady-Hipp Arena. There are no basketball games scheduled that evening, only the homecoming ceremony in order to hopefully accommodate all who wish to attend. There is no cost for admission, but tickets must be reserved prior to arrival as no tickets will be available at the door in order to ensure distancing protocol from ADH is followed. West Side EAST is collecting toys and cleaning supplies for Haven House until December 10th. You can drop off donations in the high school or elementary buildings! Thank you for your support!

STAR STUDENT: MYLAH GENT Mrs. Debbie's 6th grade star student for October was Mylah Gent. Mylah was chosen because she demonstrates responsibility in the classroom. SRO Crispell presented Mylah with a certificate and bag of goodies. Congratulation, Mylah!

Employee Spotlight: SALLIE ALUMBAUGH
Mrs. Sallie Alumbaugh is a resource teacher at West Side Elementary. This is her sixth year at the district. When not at work, Mrs. Sallie enjoys reading, camping, crafting, and hanging out with her family.

STAR STUDENT: LOGAN RUNNELS Logan Runnels was selected as Mrs. Tabatha's kindergarten star student for the month of October. Logan was chosen because of his responsibility in the classoom. He received a certificate and bag of goodies for his hard work. Way to go, Logan!
