The girls team won Cougar Golf Tournament, becoming champs for the 3rd time at the Cougar. Emma Johnson medalist, Kendra Harness medalist runner-up. Haley Gentry 4th overall, Kortnee Finch 5th overall. Team score (2 day total): 536 (won by 54 strokes)

For the 5th time in 6 years and 4th straight year, the girls golf team won the 2-day Fairfield Bay Classic, which ended Thursday.

West Side SD partners with Pangburn SD and ASU-B Heber Springs to provide this grant funded position. The position is an employee of ASU-B Heber Springs and splits their time between the campuses of West Side High School and Pangburn High School.
The position opening will close on July 27.

During the governor's press conference yesterday it was announced that schools could start no earlier than Monday, August 24.
A revised academic calendar for 2020-21 will be adopted in the near future. The calendar will be shared publicly after adoption.

A few reminders to those attending Friday’s graduation, which begins at 7 p.m. …
+This event is possible because the school is following directives of the state Department of Health. Everyone's cooperation is imperative for the health of all in attendance.
+The doors of Brady-Hipp Arena will open at 6:15 p.m. An early arrival will ensure all can enter and choose a seat while following the physical distancing requirements.
+A ticket is required to attend. A face mask must be worn at all times while in the parking lot and in the Arena.
+No congregating is allowed in the parking lot or inside the building before or after the ceremony.
+Attendees must remain 6 feet from others at all times, except when seated with other members of the household.
+Household groups should stay 6 feet apart, which is two unoccupied seats or one unoccupied row. Restricted rows are marked off with yellow tape.
+Hand sanitizer will be available upon entry of the Arena, along the concourse, and in restrooms. Frequent hand washing is recommended. A limited number of courtesy face coverings will be available.

Reminder, WillSub training is tomorrow at 9:30 for those interested in being a substitute.
