For the second straight year, the Girls Golf Team won the district championship Thursday at Tannenbaum Golf Club. This is the fourth year in past five they have taken the crown.Members of the team are (from left) Kendra Harness, 6th place; Kortnee Finch, 5th place; Kaylynn Finch, Medalist Runner-up (All Conference); Emma Johnson; and Haley Gentry was 3rd place (All Conference). The team will compete tomorrow in the state golf match.

Phillip Ramsey, Patreca Hutson, and Jeff Smith discuss a guaranteed and viable curriculum during “Professional Learning Communities at Work,” which is the start of lead to a school-improvement initiative in the High School. The teachers, along with Brenda Grogan and Matt Irwin, attended the two-day training at Plumerville.
