EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: MICHELLE WOLFE
Ms. Michelle has been with West Side School for twenty-two years as a paraprofessional! She has spent time on both the elementary and high school campuses, and is a wonderful asset to our school. When she isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, working in the yard, sitting by the pool, going to the beach, and spending time with her son, daughter-in-law, and grandson.

State Championship Banners/Ring Presentations for Golf/Tennis/Cross Country will take place between the Jr. Girls and Jr. Boys game vs Rural Special tomorrow at Brady-Hipp Arena.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: LINDA TODD
Mrs. Linda is the bookkeeper at West Side School. She has been at the district for six years. She enjoys traveling, gardening, reading, and playing with her puppers!

Let's show our Eagle Pride as we cheer on the basketball teams this Thursday, January 28th as they take on the Rural Special Rebels. Students in grades K-12 are invited to dress as tacky tourists for school and at the games. Let's Send Those Rebels Packing!

The basketball games at Concord for Tuesday 1/26 have been postponed. The new date will be shared once determined.

West Side School would like to thank our school board for their hard work and dedication to our school, students, and community. Current Board members are Junior Fife, Nikki Cothren, Jacob Smith, Dan Knapp, and (not pictured) Larry Rooks.

Seniors who have on-campus courses do not need to arrive until 5th Period on Tuesday due to testing of underclassmen during Periods 1-4. Seniors may, however, use the Distance Learning lab for remote courses.

Testing for Grades 7-11 was disrupted this morning due to Internet connectivity problems caused by lightning. Students will need to arrive both Tuesday and Wednesday morning with a fully charged Chromebook and charger. Virtual Grade 7-11 students who have at least one on-campus course will also test those two mornings.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: JO CORNELL
Ms. Jo has been a Pre-K para pro for four years. When she isn't taking care of our little ones, Ms. Jo enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and walking her dog, Sid. She is awesome with our littlest Eagles, and we are blessed to have her as part of the family!

Parents, please remind WSHS on-campus students to bring chrome book and charger on Monday and Tuesday for winter interim assessments. Virtual students in Grades 7-11 who take a class on campus will also need to be at school for testing, from 8:00 to 11:30.
