2025 Senior Spotlight: Deeanna Carlton

Mrs. Rose’s 9th grade physical science students used water bottle rocket construction in April to investigate Newton’s Laws of Motion, acceleration, altitude, and engineering practices. The students did an awesome job! Some rockets went over 350 ft when launched at a 45 degree angle. When launched at a 90 degree angle, many rockets exceeded 250 ft! Mrs. Norma Harper-Irwin volunteered multiple days to help Mrs. Rose’s 9th grade students with the bookkeeping and financial aspect of their rocket building businesses. We had a BLAST working with her. Thank you Mrs. Norma!
