Thursday's Homecoming Dress Up Day is Red, White, & Bleu!


Picture Day is Monday, November 15. Fall sports photos will also be taken. This includes basketball, golf, tennis, cross country and cheer. Athletes will need access to uniforms from every sport they participate in. Due to dissatisfaction with some photos from the first Picture Day, all elementary students will have their pictures taken again on Monday. All students who have their picture taken will receive a proof. Seniors portrait make-ups will also be taken on Monday.

West Side Eagles are showing their school spirit this week for Homecoming! Here are a few pictures from Monday's Ranch Day!




Mr. Water's 5th & 6th grade Eagle Choir recently had their first performance in front of an audience at the school. They sang a few Halloween songs and a classic from CCR. Pictured from left to right are: Sadie Davis, Linley Shannon, Emma Murphree, Gracie Messer, Savannah Winkler, and Weston Graham.


West Side Homecoming Ceremonies will be held on Thursday, November 11th in the Brady-Hipp Arena beginning at 7 pm!


Wednesday's Spirit Dress Up Day is 1,000 Island, dress Hawaiian!

Reminder for the Picture Retakes on November 15

Parents are encouraged to attend the Book Fair in the library at West Side to promote literacy with books for preschool to teen readers. Parent hours are 7:30 AM to 10 AM Tuesday through Thursday and 3:15 PM to 4 PM Wednesday. Cash, check, and credit card are accepted.

STAR STUDENT: ANNA OPLINGER Congratulations to Anna Oplinger for demonstrating responsibility and being selected as Mrs. Whitney's star student. She received a water bottle and certificate from Officer Donald Crispell. Congratulations, Anna!


The dress-up days planned for West Side Homecoming


West Side Cheerleaders are on The Hill today for the Mississippi State game. They got to participate in U of A spirit day and meet the U of A cheerleaders, band, dance team and most importantly Big Red and Sooie.



Don’t forget the Silent Auction tonight at Fall Festival! Preview at 5 and bidding will begin at 5:30 and end at 7:30. Some items include, Dell Universe Dock Station, Beats Electronics, Game Camera and numerous items for the hunter, Baby Basket, Home Laundry items, Razorback and Eagle items, homemade and canned gift baskets and home decor, mums and pansies, local gift certificates, toys for the kids and more! Come out, do some shopping and donate to the class of your choice!

Don't forget the Junior Class is sponsoring the Fall Festival today, November 6, from 5-8 pm in the Brady-Hipp Arena!


Don't forget that West Side Homecoming Spirit Week starts Monday, November 8th! We will kick off the dress up days with Ranch Day!
