West Side SOAR is having a blast fishing on these beautiful fall days!

STAR STUDENT: BRAEDEN JURES Braeden Jures was selected as Mrs. Robin's 6th grade Star Student for showing kindness to others. He received a water bottle, stress ball, and certificate from SRO Donald Crispell in appreciation for his positive attitude. Congratulations, Braeden!

West Side will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week October 23rd-28th. We will have a variety of speakers and activities all week long.


West Side Eagle Basketball starts tonight at Brady Hipp Arena! The 7th grade boys, Jr. Girls and Jr. Boys play Guy Perkins beginning at 4:00 p.m. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Tickets for both adults and students will be $5. West Side students and staff still get in free. The 1A Conference schools have all set gate ticket prices at the same $5 this year to compensate for an increase in officiating costs. We hope to see everyone out supporting the WSHS Eagle teams! #GoEagles

The 7th grade girls' game tomorrow against Guy Perkins has been cancelled. There will just be 7th grade boys, jr. boys and jr. girls. They 7th grade boys will start at 4:00 p.m.

The 5th & 6th grade art club recycled paper using scraps. They then practiced pen and ink techniques to create a finished drawing on their handmade paper. Nice work!


Congratulations to the West Side Jr Boys for placing 7th in the Bald Knob Cross Country meet yesterday. Dax Hipp & Lainee Gentry placed 16th. There were a lot of teams and a lot of runners, but West Side did great!
