West Side EAGLET students recently enjoyed an enrichment trip to Blanchard Springs Caverns. They got to walk the trails and experience the beauty of the caverns. They were able to ask questions to learn more about cave structures, bats, and the ecosystem.

Seniors traveled on Oct. 28 to the ASU Beebe @ Heber Springs campus for Bridge to College organized by Mrs. Ritter, Career Coach. Students were given information about the programs offered and financial aid, met with instructors, and completed applications for admissions. West Side eSports continued its winning ways on Thursday, beating Newport 2-1 in Super Mario Kart. After dropping the first set, the team of Maggie Ott, Jordan Ragsdale, Caleb Cross and Kolby Lockard came roaring back to dominate sets 2 and 3, improving their record to 4-2.

Eighth graders at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville yesterday viewed one of 12 remaining copies of the U.S. Constitution, which is part of the “We the People: The Radical Notion of Democracy” exhibit until Jan. 2.
