AR testing is available! Tuesday and Thursday from 1-3 in the Elementary AR lab.
AR testing is temporarily suspended! Due to technical issues with the program, there will be no AR testing available until further notice. We will send a notification when testing becomes available again.
K-8th Grade West Side Students are encouraged to participate in our Summer Reading Program to earn a special prize!
Students will be given individual reading goals and the opportunity to visit the school to take Accelerated Reader tests.
To test, please visit West Side Elementary Tuesday, June 1st- Thursday, August 5th on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00pm-3:00pm to take Accelerated Reader tests.

Grant Wells received Honorable Mention for his portrait in graphite in the Greers Ferry Art Show! Taitum Williams-Conner and Mikaela Ross also received honorable mention in the ceramic passive speaker division at the art show! Congratulations to the 7th-12th grade art students for their wonderful job on their artwork in the Greers Ferry Art Show! Felicia Medieros won Best in Show for her portrait in graphite. Sylas Passmore won 1st place in the portrait in graphite category, Corbin Croft won 2nd place, and Sidney Gent won 3rd place. Such talent from our West Side kids!

West Side School wants to remind you to take time out of your day to remember those who have given their lives fighting in the Armed Forces this Memorial Day.
While Grade 7-12 parents are being contacted by phone about Summer School to help build academic skills, they may also complete the application linked below. Grade 7-8 students have one session, weekdays June 3-30, with options of literacy, math, or both. Grade 9-12 students have two sessions, June 3-30 and July 6-Aug. 2, with options for the four core areas and a few electives. Students who had a grade below āCā could use this supplemental learning opportunity. For students who failed a course, summer learning is essential.
