West Side had a great time at the State Special Olympics Bowling last week in Little Rock! Ramon Hernandez and Tristan Hewitt brought home gold, with Luke Smith and Lindzey Bailey bringing home silver. Keyara Massey won the bronze medal while Carlee Rodgers and Brooklynn Stephenson won 4th place . Lilly Ray was 5th.

The West Side eSports Mario Kart team raced to the front of the pack and never looked back, beating Parkview to open play in the AAA state playoffs on Monday. No. 6 West Side earned the first Mario Kart playoff win in program history by downing 11th-seeded Parview in straight sets, 2-0. It also marked the first time in program history that West Side teams won two playoff games in the same season.
