"I have been showing goats for almost 5 years. My favorite part about showing is always improving and the drive to succeed." Logan Fife, 11th grader, WSHS FFA

"Showing lambs is a super bittersweet sport. There is so much work put into these animals just to get around 15 minutes in a show ring with a handshake from a judge almost guaranteed. I feel this industry is the most pure representation of how you have to work hard to succeed. Many hours of blood, sweat, and ears are poured into these animals and I love it." Kylie Sasaki, 10th grade WSHS FFA

West Side Elementary would like to welcome Miss Jessie Wilcox to the Eagle family! Jessie comes to us with three years of experience and is teaching the 3rd & 4th grade science classes this year. When she isn't at school, she loves reading. The Little House on the Prairie series is her favorite; in fact, she reread it this summer! Jessie says the people are the best part about West Side! She says, "I get to work with awesome educators and wonderful students!" Welcome to the school, Jessie!
