The High School has no supply list for grade 7-12 students. However, individual teachers may request that students bring tissues, hand sanitizer, or the like. Students will be notified of those items during the first week of classes. Instructional supplies, i.e. pens and pencils, index cards, paper, and highlighters, etc., are provided to students by the district.

2018 grad LeAnna Endsley (Comp. Sci.) and senior Sarah Tate (Lang. & Comp.) earned college credit with AP exam scores.

We would like to welcome the addition of two recently hired employees. Mrs. Terri Cornett was hired as the district guidance counselor, and Mrs. Kay Roseberry was hired as special education teacher. Please help us welcome them both to West Side School District.

West Side Metal Fab Team 2nd in Nation
West Side’s welding program continues to reach new heights, with the Metal Fabrication Team of Peyton Dean, Austin Murphree, and Nate Smith finishing runner-up in competition at the National Leadership & Skills Conference. They took the podium this evening at a sold-out ceremony in Louisville, Ky. The Metal Fab team competed against some of the nation’s best welders by completing a project that requires blueprint reading, teamwork, and attention to detail.
During April’s state competition, the Metal Fab team finished first, which secured their spot in this week’s national competition. In between the events, they spent hundreds of hours working with instructor Randy Carr and others to hone their skills. Tristen Cottrell, who was first in Arkansas SkillsUSA competition, also competed at NLSC. His final ranking is not yet known, but he did not finish in the Top 3.

West Side AP Students, your scores will be available at 7 a.m. Friday, July 6. Visit https://apscore.collegeboard.org/scores to access ...
