Congratulations to our West Side Lady Eagles on their Regional Championship! With this win, the Lady Eagles now advance to the 1A state tournament and will play at 1pm on Wednesday at Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs.
The Lady Eagles picked up an overtime victory, 58-57, over Concord in the semifinals of the Class 1A Region 3 Tournament last night. They play Rural Special tonight in the final at 6 pm at Bradford High School.

The Lady Eagles advanced to the regional semifinals tonight with a 67-44 win over Augusta. At 4 pm Friday at Bradford, they play the winner of the Bradford-Concord, which is tomorrow. Today’s win assured them of a spot in the state tournament.

The West Side Lady Eagles (27-9) play Augusta (9-17) in the Class 1A Region 3 Tournament at 4 pm today. The winner earns a berth in the Class 1A State Tournament. The regional is at Bradford High School. Semis will be Friday; championships, Saturday.

We are saddened to share the news that West Side SD and the community lost a great man. For many years Mr. John Long the principal at West Side Elementary. He was a great person who will be remembered for his deep love and compassion for kids and his willingness to do anything in his power to help them succeed. Our deepest sympathies and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time.
Congratulations to the Lady Eagles and Coach Megan Berry on their victory tonight in the finals of the District Tournament! After finishing 2nd in conference play, they defeated Rural Special 41-29 to earn a No. 1 seed in next week’s regional tournament at Bradford.
