During the Christmas break, Mount Vernon-Enola is hosting a basketball tournament. The senior girls play Bigelow at 12:30 pm Wed Dec. 27, and the senior boys play Conway Christian at 1:45 pm Wed Dec. 27.

West Side FFA member, Logan Fife, was inducted into the Purple Circle Club on December 9th in Little Rock, as the Champion Senior Boer Showmanship winner at the Arkansas State Fair 2023. The Purple Circle Club is an awards program recognizing junior livestock exhibitors who earned championship honors at the Arkansas State Fair and is sponsored by the Arkansas Farm Bureau Federation.


The West Side High School FFA is working to support the Toy Drive this year. If you would like to donate to the Toy Drive, please send your toys to the high school office. by Friday. Thank you!

West Side had a great time at the State Special Olympics Bowling last week in Little Rock! Ramon Hernandez and Tristan Hewitt brought home gold, with Luke Smith and Lindzey Bailey bringing home silver. Keyara Massey won the bronze medal while Carlee Rodgers and Brooklynn Stephenson won 4th place . Lilly Ray was 5th.
