Today's messages for high school students during Red Ribbon Week are to avoid unhealthy relationships and to stay involved in school activities, which can foster a sense of self-worth. Low self-esteem leads makes teenagers more susceptible to try drugs and withdraw from friends.

The wins kept coming for West Side eSports on Wednesday, as the Eagles downed Tuckerman High School 3-1 in Super Smash Bros. The team of Stevi Oplinger, Tadeo Hernandez and Ian Harper was victorious for the second straight week. Also, for the second straight week, Hernandez won the final four games to put the opponent away. In the tradition of Eagle eSports legend Kolby Lockard, Hernandez has 10 straight games without a loss. West Side will next face County Line in Mario Kart action on Thursday.
