Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31, is Spring Picture Day at West Side. Those wanting spring pictures will need to bring order forms. Spring sports pictures will also be taken. This includes baseball, softball, track and tennis, and student-athletes will need access to their uniforms. Also tomorrow, kindergarten cap and gown portraits will be taken. No preorder forms are required for kindergarten pictures as proofs of those pictures will be sent home at a later date.
Mr. Caleb's 5th graders enjoyed their guest speaker, Roger Rucker, last week. He and his family served as missionaries in Egypt for 30 years. He brings so many interesting stories and cultural insights to our class every year. Students left with papyrus bookmarks, Egyptian coins, and a chance to try Egyptian tahini (hummus) with pita bread!
A big thank you to our maintenance crew, especially Mr. Derreck, for building these beautiful raised beds and cold frame.
