West Side eSports Gets Out the Brooms!
Program history was made on Wednesday, as both West Side Super Smash Bros. teams swept their opponents in straight sets for the first time ever. Team 1 (Ian Harper, Ramon Hernandez, Tadeo Hernandez) didn't lose a round (6-0) on their way to the 3-0 win over Mena. Team 2 (Tucker Polley, Dillon Cecil, Thomas Shue) swept Gentry High School, 3-0. Cecil stepped into the starting lineup and earned his first-ever individual victory.
The West Side Mario Kart team -- winners of two straight -- will play Thursday's rescheduled match with Hope High School on Monday at 4 p.m.

We need empty 2L bottle. The 9th grade science students will begin constructing rockets next week. We would appreciate any donations of 2L bottles to help with this project. Bottles can be brought to the high school office to be sent to Mrs. Rose. Thank you and GO EAGLES!!
