Hey folks, I want to remind everyone about our first ever GRADES 3-12 STEM NIGHT Monday, May 8 @ 6pm in the cafeteria. We'll have some great exhibits, lots of hands-on activities, and super door-prizes! We'll also be serving hot dogs and hamburgers until we run out. Not sure what STEM stands for? Morning everyone! Our ACT Aspire State Testing has been going great this week. We have one more morning of testing, tomorrow, Friday May 4. It's very important that all our students in grades 3-6 be in attendance tomorrow in order to finish up! Thanks for your support and have a great day!

CodeRED, the county's notification system, said the Corps of Engineers will close both lanes of Hwy. 25 at Greers Ferry Dam at 7:45 a.m. Thursday, April 27. The lanes will reopen at 7:45 p.m.
Afternoon folks.I wanted to let you know that we took shelter this morning under the new gym for a little bit over an hour. This was due to West Side being in the path of severe weather which included possible tornadic activity. As always, student safety comes first. The students and teachers were awesome (as usual). The cafeteria ladies were also fantastic as they seamlessly provided lunch by running students straight through the line non-stop! High School parents, please help ensure students are ready with a good night's sleep, breakfast, and arrival to school on time. ACT Aspire testing finishes Wednesday morning for grade 7-10 students.
Evening. A reminder that Students in grades 4-6 will be performing Tuesday evening, April 25 at 6:00 pm in the new gym. Students will be presenting recorder music and folk dances. Everyone is invited to attend. Hope to see you there! (Students in grades 4-6 should be in the new gym by 5:45 to get their T-shirts for the performance)
