Beginning Tuesday, West Side High School will offer Session II of Summer School to students entering Grades 9-12. Depending upon the demand, free transportation may be available. Summer school is open to students who are behind on credits or who want to advance in coursework.
Students must attend campus each day from July 6-August 2, and courses will be delivered online at the campus via Virtual Arkansas, the High School’s online course provider. Core area courses, Spanish, and a few other electives are listed on the Application. Classes are held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. each weekday. Students taking two courses must also attend from noon to 3:30 p.m. Students may earn up to 1 credit or more by attending both sessions.
