Brady-Hipp Arena at West Side High School plays host to some of Arkansas best basketball this week while hosting the Class 1A State Tournament, which brings 16 teams together for six days games.
Yesterday’s championship and seeding games in the four regions established the tournament matchups. The girls tournament bracket is here; the boys tournament is here. After fans from each team have had an opportunity to purchase $6 tickets, which are limited in quantity due to COVID precautions, tickets are moved to the public purchase site on GoFan. A video tutorial of the ticket-purchase process is available. Fans may also transfer tickets from one phone to another. Tickets will be delivered to the email address entered when purchasing.
Games are played tomorrow through Saturday and on Monday, March 15 to narrow the field down to the championship games, which are played for all classifications at Hot Springs Convention Center. For this week’s games, the times are at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. The 3-hour gaps allow time for cleaning the arena between games, during which time fans must leave the facility.
All games are mobile-ticket entry, meaning that no printed tickets or screenshots are accepted for admission. Spectators must display the ticket in an email message on a smartphone or on the GoFan app. Tickets are validated on the phone during admission to Brady-Hipp so fans are asked to have the ticket ready as they reach the entry doors.
AAA passes will be accepted unless the venue has reached capacity in actual attendance or pre-sold tickets. Participating school administrators who will be supervising students during their contest shall be admitted at the pass gate.
