West Side High School will offer Summer School at no cost to WSHS students in grades 9-12 who failed a course or received an “I” for Incomplete grade and need to recover credit. Students from other schools may also enroll for a fee.
Courses will be conducted online from Tuesday, June 2-Tuesday, June 29. Enrollment is available to other students in Arkansas with approval from the home school. WSHS students who need a device will be supplied one; a limited number of “hotspots” to provide Internet at home are also available.
The deadline for WSHS students to apply with no fee is 3 p.m. Monday, June 1. Enrollment priority will be given to West Side students who apply by the deadline. The Summer School Application provides more detail, including the list of courses available.
There is no cost for West Side students. The cost is $125 per course for students of other districts.
