Governor Asa Hutchinson, Johnny Key, Secretary of the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, and Dr. Nathaniel Smith, Secretary of the Arkansas Department of Health, provided an update to media this afternoon (Friday, March 13) regarding Arkansas’s coronavirus (COVID-19) response in this videoraped press conference. According to Gov. Hutchinson, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is not recommending broad school closures.
