SENIOR SCHEDULE: May 11-19, 2017
Curriculum Coordinator Matt Irwin
Tuesday, May 09, 2017

These are the specifics of seniors’ final days on campus . . .

EXAMS: Seniors will be notified by teachers no later than Thursday, May 12, the final regular day of class, whether they are exempt from exams, which are based on absences and grades (students must have at least a B average with no more than three absences). From absence and grade information, seniors can determine if they can afford to miss part or all of a day Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday prior to exams. The parent of a student who cannot take an exam scheduled on Monday or Tuesday (due to court, counseling, or medical appointment) must call the office to schedule a makeup exam.

On testing days, seniors who are exempt from tests may miss those class periods. Under no circumstances may a student leave campus and return the same day.

OTHER ACTIVITIES: During their final days, seniors will also take part in the Senior Breakfast, Walk of Honor, graduation practice, and an off-campus photo shoot.

All days will follow the normal bell schedule.

  • Thursday, May 11, is the final regular class day, and all seniors should attend unless they have a day available to take an absence for part or all of the day

  • Friday May 12, is Review Day. Only seniors who are taking exams should attend. These students may attend part or all of the day

  • Monday, May 15 is a testing day for afternoon classes -- 6th-8th Periods, and the day ends at 3:05. Seniors who are exempt from tests during those class periods may miss part or all of the day.
