West Side High School will offer Summer School at no cost to WSHS students in grades 9-12 who failed a course and need to recover credit. Students from other schools may also attend for a fee.
Courses will be held at the high school, 7295 Greers Ferry Road, Greers Ferry, Arkansas. All courses run Monday through Friday, June 10-June 28. Enrollment is available to other students in Arkansas with approval from the home school.
The deadline to apply is Monday, June 3. Enrollment priority will be given to West Side students who apply by the deadline. Summer School will be canceled without a sufficient number of enrollees. The Grade 9-12 application provides more detail, including the list of courses available.
There is no cost for West Side students. The cost is $125 per course for students of other districts. Parents or guardians must provide transportation. Students needing one semester course may attend 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. or noon to 3:30 p.m; students needing two semester courses must attend both.
